M/s Kailash Agro Private Limited or Kailash Agro Cold Storage (KACS) was formed in 2013 and is a DPIIT recognised startup. The company setup its first state of the art cold storage project in 2013 and began banana ripening facilities in 2013 itself. KACS’s plant was fully commissioned in 2014 and started storage of Apples in CA.
The company started as storage and trading hub for fruits and vegetables. It stores Apples, Oranges, Grapes, Pomegranate, Banana, Ginger, Onion, Garlic, Potato, etc. The team also partnered with various institutes like NIFTEM for research in these various different commodities. The company also conducted trainings for NCCD in Banana Ripening as well.
The company underwent a transition with the advent of GST in 2017 and the new level playing field it granted. Capitalising on this new opportunity the company has transformed into one of the largest aggregator of cold storages in India with over 25+ cold storages on its INDICOLD network, with some of the most sought after marquee clients.
Feeling the need for technology and its actual necessity with the expanding network, kACS’s in-house team MOOLCODE is building the latest in technology to drive the next level of growth for kACS and the ecosystem at large.
